About the Artist:
Becca is a working artist in the concrete desert of Las Vegas, NV. She has always enjoyed working in a variety of both traditional and digital media. Canvas, paper, murals, sculpture, ceramics, and textiles. She enjoys working with photo reference and from life including figure drawing, still life, and plein air.
Beyond art, she is passionate about education and technology. She taught art in the San Francisco Bay area for 6 years, including leading art team-building events at large Silicon Valley companies. She holds a B.S. in IT from Western Governors University and minors in education and art. Past notable projects include children’s book illustrations for Hope Springs Water non-profit, and bookmarks/promotional material for Avant Pop Books.
Originally from Texas, she has shown her work in galleries in both California and Nevada. She is currently an art instructor for adults and children, creates artwork to be taught in small studio classes nationwide, and is active in local art non-profits most recently with mural installations.
